Day 110 Grand Haven

It was a looonngg 70 mile day on Lake Michigan. However, the seas were pleasant, the sun was out, only wore 2 layers of clothing - it was a good day for boating. Made it to Grand Haven around 5:45 and met new fellow loopers right as we docked. Our friends on the sailboat, Crewein, made it here around 7:30. (Pic 2) The third photo is another boat we've been traveling with, Salty Dog. They are chasing The Badger out of Ludington Harbor on their way to their permanent marina in Grand Haven. The terrain is changing again. The impressive, massive sand dunes are less prevalent the more south we go. We're seeing a lot more houses now sitting on gently rolling hills rambling down to the water's edge. Foul weather and angry seas are moving in tomorrow so we may be here for two or three days. Excited to explore the city - hear there's lots to do here.
