Had a nice day of boating after pulling out of the Grand River - only had a little rolling, but much better than the last 3 days. Terrain changes just about every couple miles - low hills with evergreen trees and homes to high eroded dunes, sand down to the water. Went about 20 miles to Saugatuck. Idled 2 miles up the river (pic 1) to an anchorage (pic 2) in the middle of the basin. Very busy little town. Saw every kind of boat possible including a paddle wheel. Just swung in my hammock swing and read while John napped. Threw together some supper and had Becky and Dell over for dinner for their last night on the water. They live in St. Joseph so they will be home tomorrow. Will miss traveling with them. There was a magnificent full moon to complete the pleasant evening. One more good day of boating to St. Joe tomorrow.
