Day 81 Fenelon Falls

This will be a short entry since we are sitting in Tim Horton's using their wifi trying to catch up on publishing my blogs. Had a peaceful night and then only boated for a couple hours today to Fenelon Falls lock - didn't make it to Rosedale. This is a very busy touristy town, but we are pacing our days so we cross large Lake Simcoe on a good day. It's cloudy with a chance of thunderstorms. We hear the lake can kick up to 8' waves in a matter of minutes in a storm because it's so shallow. The terrain here is quite different from last night. The rocks are layered and the houses are up on hills over the water. Will wander around this old town before we take off early tomorrow morning. There's a few narrow canals we have to transverse and about 7 locks before we get to the lake on Wednesday night. Hoping to get into a marina at that point. Hoping to hear from some of you if you get a chance, eh?!
