Day 186 Cold Cold Cold in the Panhandle

Cold doesn't begin to describe the wind and weather today. We didn't do a lot outside because of the temps. John fixed the windshield wipers while Stell and I walked downtown to  a well stocked bead store and bought a couple "projects" then went to Publix. Ya don't know how great Publix is till it's been gone for 6 months. I have mastered the fine art of "layering". It really does help in frigid temperatures. Hard to believe that the group below is in sunny Florida. Our Looper friends decided to do a group Mexican dinner while we are still all together. I will miss so many dear people when the trip, for us, has ended. The Loop brings you close in a very short time. We have met a boatload (pun intended) of wonderful, kind, interesting people on this odyssey whom we will never forget. I sincerely hope we stay in contact. Heading to Apalachicola tomorrow since the wind and seas are suppose to lay down; however, we need power for heat so we are staying in a marina again. It's too cold to anchor out right now. We will, of course, will be driving from down below since the temperature is not going up enough for us to steer from the bridge. Arrrgh brrrrrr!
