Day 147 Anchoring out at Pisgah

What a dreary, gray, stormy day in Kentucky.  Woke up to some strange green blobs all over our boats. Cassie thought it was pollen. I say it's pod aliens lying in wait to eat our brains when we fall asleep. Whatever they are, they are creepy and slimy and, hopefully, the rains will wash them off the deck. Said good bye to our friends on Seawolf and took off in a foggy, misty rain. Luckily, we did not have to travel far to our lush, tranquil anchorage in Pisgah Cove. Just chilled on the boat - read and planned our trip down the river. Dinner was John's delicious left over 2 inch pork chop from Patti's Restaurant then successfully searched the shore for deer sightings. About sunset, we saw a buck coming down for a drink. Rain is predicted for the weekend, but we will push on down Kentucky Lake to Dry Fork, another pristine inlet.
