Succeeded in getting a jump on the fog and storms making our way to Pebble Isle Marina in New Johnsonville. Crossed the state line into Tennessee and it's beautiful here. Mountains again, tall trees, fabulous houses on ridges overlooking the river. I could live in a few of them. Passed one new community that was built on an old abandoned railroad track and bridge. Just past it was a derelict dock and large building on stilts. Would love to know what it was. Perfect Christmas trees all along the shoreline - found mine in pic 3. We'll have to come back for it with the truck. In the afternoon, there were short periods of sunshine as we arrived at the marina. Those alien pods multiplied over night. They were all over the boat, so that's how we spent the first couple of hours in Pebble Isle - scrubbing the Sundowner. One guy called them River Bugs, someone else said it was spider excrement. Whatever they are, I hope they go back to their home planet. Storms hit late in the evenong and expecting more tomorrow.
